Review Policy

Authors, Publishers, Book-Type People,

Thank you for considering Reading with Tequila.

Contact me: tantrumsandtequila at hotmail dot com

Inquiry timeframe: All inquiries will be read within 3 days of submission (usually the same day). Acceptance confirmation will be sent at that time. I apologize for not being able to reply to inquiries that I am unable to accept. Please do not let that prevent you from inquiring in the future.

Genres I typically review: Fantasy (traditional, dark, urban), mystery (cozy, detective, forensic), speculative fiction (alternate history, horror, dystopian, apocalyptic), chick lit, and romance (contemporary, paranormal).

Genres I don't review: Nonfiction, self-help, religious fiction, military fiction, sports fiction, westerns, and picture books.

Book formats: I accept ARCs, galleys, newly released and backlist titles for review. I will review books in the middle of a series, but I may request that you send the previous titles if I have not read them and do not own them. I will review each title sent separately. I can accept ebooks in epub format. I cannot accept audiobooks or self-published books.

Review timeframe: Newly released and backlist titles sent for review are generally reviewed within 2 months of arrival. ARCs and galleys will be reviewed as close to their release dates as possible. Review posting can be timed to coincide with blog tours or other promotions if arrangements have been made in advance.

Promotional options: Guest blogging, author interviews and giveaway (books, swag, etc.) hosting are available. In this case, book reviews will be scheduled to coincided with promotional posts.

Cross-posting: I always cross-post my reviews on Amazon.com, LibraryThing and GoodReads. Reviews can be posted elsewhere if requested.

Other: ARCs are never sold. All review books are offered to readers in a monthly review book giveaway.

I'm fascinated by your love of reading and find it quite inspiring. I'm curious to know how long it takes you to read an average book?
